Die Brücke (The Bridge) and Expressionism.

Die   Brücke  ( The Bridge ) Die Brücke (The Bridge), founded in Dresden in 1905 by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, and Fritz Bleyl, played a pivotal role in the emergence of Expressionism. This group sought to break away from traditional artistic conventions, emphasizing raw emotion and subjective experience in their work.
